Whether you are an amateur or a professional, try my in-house one-to-one courses on all the most important “real world” aspects of digital photography, the use of Adobe Photoshop or Mac computers, or use my experienced consultancy service to enable you to set up an effective Digital Asset Management (DAM) system or workflow. I have a stock library that contains thousands of images, including a wide range of military images from the core archives of the Military Picture Library, founded by me in 1971. I have been a professional photographer for over forty years, working in areas as diverse as medical, forensic, weddings, portraits, editorial, advertising and defence. I am a corporate, qualified member of the British Institute of Professional Photography (BIPP) and have run an image stock library for much of my career. Today, I work almost entirely on location, using the latest digital equipment, and am highly experienced at working in demanding environments - from the desert to the arctic - ideal for extreme sports & equipment, outdoor pursuits or defence equipment. Air-to-air/air-to-surface photography also features high on my list of skills. I really enjoy photography, so teaching others how to get the best from digital photo-technology, allied to Apple Mac computers, and acting as a consultant to enable people to understand Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems effectively, is a natural progression. My writing on these subjects, using a “no frills” approach that is easy to understand, is also published in the professional photographic press.
