Experience For the past 3 years I held the position of Photography Controller at Page & Moy Travel Group Ltd. During this time I built and managed strong relationships with image providers, such as Getty, Alamy, AWL Images, Photoshot and 4Corners Images among others. In my role as Photography Controller I was solely responsible for the groups image licensing and copyrights, as part of a wider brief which included, supplier management and negotiation. My passion for photography meant I developed and supported the photographic aspirations of my colleagues. On my own initiative I mentored a tour manager who went on to produce and submit professional travel imagery. Working in a large marketing department, I ably demonstrated the ability to multi-task and collaborate with graphic design and art working teams. In this role I was responsible for picture research, commissioning photography and liaising with model agencies. When attending photographic shoots I employed my vast experience as a travel photographer in relation to logistics, planning and budget. From my close relationships with image suppliers I kept abreast of styles and trends in photographic practice. Allied with my personal and professional interest I utilized platforms including Nikon Pro, Hasselblad, Satchi Online, Photoshelter, Fotoblur, Artflakes, and Twitter. A core component of my brief was the development and management of the companies DAM. In pursuance of set budgetary targets, and medium to long term sustainability, I successfully grew the groups own Royalty Free Library. In doing so I demonstrated the ability to control cost's whilst contributing to the creation of award winning publications.
