I am a specialist wedding photographer that combines photojournalism with a contemporary style. I create images that document the moments of your day as events happen. Wedding Photographers in Horsham, Burgess Hill, Tunbridge Wells, Eastbourne I began my career as a photojournalist working for national picture agencies as a Press photographer covering high profile news and sports events. It was my job to capture the drama and emotion of stories within an image working to the pressure of tight publication deadlines. It gave me a broad experience of capturing the moment that I now bring to my wedding photography. I work in an informal and unobtrusive way in order to capture the atmosphere and tell the story of your day documenting images in natural and spontaneous photographs. My discreet style aims to create a 'storyboard' of your wedding day, highlighting both moments you remember and maybe the ones you don’t, documenting the day’s stories. I focus on the relationships between people, capturing their expressions and emotions, often taking the picture without anyone knowing. While my approach is of a photojournalistic nature I also mix this with a more contemporary style. Couples often request a mixture of reportage with the traditional. Staged pictures can also be captured such as group shots when requested - but efficiently and with a minimum of fuss to allow plenty of time to hunt out more candid shots. I am based in Sussex, but regularly cover weddings in London and the South of England. I have been lucky enough to cover weddings all over the country in places such as Devon, Cornwall, Somerset, Oxford, Manchester and the rest of Europe. I always relish the chance to shoot at a new and interesting venue.
