Performances of the NIE :Participated in-plant training at the Education Media Unit of the NIE stating from 03.10.1988 to 03.01.1989.I served as a Media Technician on casual basis in the same Unit starting from the 04th Jan.1989 to 30th march 1991. I was made permanent employer NIE as a Media Technician in the year 1991 up to date.
In charge of Audio Studio since 1999 to 2003.I am in a position to handle maintaining, assembling and servicing of the Audio equipment with almost satisfaction in order to function the equipment properly.

Extra Qualifications :I followed to a computer training programme conduct by Computer Department of NIE.I Attended three weeks full time workshop on Advanced lighting for Studio Production conducted by the Sri Lanka Television Training Institute ( SLTTI ) with assistant of Netherlands Management Consultancy Programme, 1993.I Participated six weeks fulltime International Training Course on Colour Television Engineering II Television Training Institute of Sri Lanka. ( SLTTI ) The programme was conduct under the aegis of Japan International Cooperation Agency ( JAICA ) from 07th July to 22nd Aug. 1997. I have Twenty years experience in still photography.
11. Prizes and Awards : “ The Treasure Grove of the Sea.” an Education TV programme produced by the NIE won a special commendation prize at the 22nd Japan Prize Contest. I have served as a cameraman and Audio Controller of this programme.“ Hydro Electricity in Sri Lanka” an ETV Programme produced by the NIE, won the third prize in the scientific and educational group at the 26th Roshed International Film and Video Festival Teheran 1996. I served as a lighting Technician of this programme.
